  • Ideal rod for bonefish, tarpon and permit
  • Powerful progressive flex for long or short range presentation
  • Saltwater protected fittings
  • Large rings for better line shoot
  • Packs down small for long distance traveling

When you're sea-fishing on the flats you need to cover a fish fast and accurately with minimum disturbance. That's why we've designed the new Hardy Saltwater rod with the power to lift a long line off the water, and the ability to shoot it with minimum effort. Its multi-modulus construction produces a progressive flex that allows perfect presentation at a long or short range. This is one tough rod with sufficient reserves of power in the butt to turn a large tarpon. The black hard anodized reel fitting affords excellent saltwater protection and the large high arch double-dipped chrome snake rings and aluminum oxide double stripping rings allow the line to shoot smoothly, even with salt build-up.

The rod is finished in a stunning aqua color with matching things. Its 9' length packs away neatly in 4 sections, making it an excellent choice for long-distance traveling. Supplied with a partitioned cloth bag and a cordura-covered rod tube.

Capt. Dave is a professional fishing guide in the Florida Keys and Sanibel area. Capt. Dave relies on Hardy tackle, " Hardy tackle gives me the durability and performance that I need. The new MLA reels and Hardy Saltwater rods have handled everything I've thrown at them, while the new lightweight Gem reel with its mid-arbor design picks line up off the deck faster than you can say 'tight lines'. So far as I'm concerned Hardy rods and reels are definitely passing the test with full marks".      To book contact Capt.
