With over 20 years of canoe building experience American Traders is now the largest builder of classic cedar canoes in the world. Their commitment to the craft and  careful attention to every detail in all their canoes defines the exceptional quality of their boats.

We have listed the canoes in order of most stable, and those for casual recreational use to higher performance models for advanced canoeist.

Skylark Sq. Stern
Over three years in planning, the Skylark represents the sum of our efforts to create the perfect small rowing craft. Comfortably sized to fit up to three adults, this beautiful boat tracks superbly with a unique triple-keel design. The Skylark comes with two sets of brass oar sockets, one set of oar locks or leathers, and one pair of cherry oars; cherry trim, seats, and backrest. A wide, fan-shaped stern seat is also included that looks and feels fantastic. As versatile as it is beautiful, the Skylark is destined to become a hit with sportsmen as well as the recreational rower. And if you prefer not to row, the Skylark’s square stern allows for up to a 4HP gas motor (or any size electric) to be mounted instead. Price: $4400 Wood/Epoxy
