The Demon has a completely anodized, double uplocking reel fitting, with nylon 'O' rings for smooth operation. And it balances perfectly with the new Demon reel. The Demon looks great too. The color changes from slate to olive as the rod moves in the light. Fuji butt guides. Hard chrome snake intermediates. Top quality Portuguese cork grips. And all in a strong Cordura carrying tube.

A delightful, easy loading, fast recovery, entry level rod that will find itself comfortably in the hands of experience anglers.

Howard Croston explains the origins of the Demon rods:
"Hardy used some of the best materials then added their experience and technology at the blank development stage and designed the rod from the ground up."

We recommend pairing the Demon Rod with Hardy's Marksman in the lighter weights and the Mach II Fly Line in the upper weights to achieve the best performance.
